Mason and I went to Terrie Studios with our best friends Mauree and Silas. We had a great time watching the blue birds being blown, walking down a trail and eating a picnic. We plan on going on many other adventures this summer with them.

Spring Break 2010

This year Mason and I went to Texas for Spring break to visit my parents. He enjoys visiting with Honey and Pops.He also got to see his Aunt Lori, Uncle Cody, Aunt Leah, and his step cousin Jonathon. He loved standing in the island at my parents house. He also firgured out how to get in the cabinets in the upstairs bathroom. He also started to walk on Spring Break. I have a video of that but cant firgure out how to post it yet.

I also got to see some of my highschool friends. The three of us all have kids now and they are all boys. This is Jennifer in the picture with her baby boy Andrew. I also got to chat with Katie. We had a good time. We will half to do that again.

We are getting ready for baseball season. We are big Arkansas Razorbacks baseball fans. We love going to the games each weekend or evenings. Mason has been to a couple already. He even got his pic with Rigby. I will have to post that later it is on a different camera. My hushband also coaches a youth team called Dirty sox. They are a traveling team. This is Michael second year to coach. The first tournament is in March. We cant wait. So I thought this picture was apporiate for baseball season.

We also had a Super bowl party at our house this year. It was alot of fun. We had a low calorie party. A couple of people where on diets. The food was great.

What we have been doing this month in January?

Mauree, Silas, Mason and I went to a Gymboree class and then to lunch. We had a great time and so did the boys.

I got a promotion at work. I am now offically a kindergarten teacher. Go Me! I am so excited!

Mason turned 14th months this month. He is growing so much!

The Hill on Golf farm Road. We went sledding this year in the Second snow storm we have had this month. Michael got a wheelbarrow and pulled us behind the fourwheeler. We also got sleds and went down this big hill. Mason stayed inside when we did this with his Nana. He will enjoy this when he gets a little older.

Mason in his first snow. We were in Texas when it snowed christmas morning. So mason and i decided to go outside and take pictures. I bundle him up and sat him in the snow. He seem to like it.

This year for New Years Eve, Michael and I got to go out to eat with friends and then to Amber and Chad's house to for cards. It was alot of fun. I was worried that I wasnt going to make it to 12:00 Am. but we did. I think the cards help out alot. In the picture is Lisa, Sharon, Janet, Marsha, Amber, Andrea and Me.

On the way home from the evening out, Michael and I talked about how we have been together for 12 New Years Eve celebrations. Wow that is alot! The first four New Years were spent in Texas while we were dating at the time. They were either at my parents home or my friends home. The others after marriage where spent in Arkansas at friends home or at Razorbacks bowls. (I think there were two at the cotton bowl and one in shreveport.)

Last night we had our christmas with Michael's family and Janice's brother family. It was alot of fun. Mason got a little people airplane, pretend fish bowl with fish in it, humiflier, clothes, and books. From Aunt Alex and Uncle Joe he got a Thomas the Train ve tech toy station. He also got, a busy box from Philip and Linda. Mason enjoy his gifts and being passed around. The Jacobs family only see him once a year.

This year we spent Christmas at my parents' home in Texas. Mason had a good christmas. From Santa, he got a barn fun house, a rocking horse, stacking blocks, and ball popper. He also got a moving pegiun from Uncle Cody and Aunt Leah and from Aunt Lori, he got a driver toy. He loves all his toys he got this year.

My Uncle always comes for christmas. This is his first time to meet the new belonging in our family. He meet my cousins new son Jonathon who is eight months old and he meet Mason. He was thrilled as you can see in the picture.

Mason enjoyed meeting Santa this year. Each year the McNaughton Realtors, hold a breakfast with Santa. Last year, Mason was the youngest one there. He made the cover of their book. This year Mason was excatly a year and two weeks. This christmas is going to be really fun!

Happy 1st Birthday Mason!
For Mason birthday party we had a barnyard theme. It turned out really cute. I had a cake from Harps made like a farm. We had a food table that had farm food on it and hand made table clothes from my mother. Mason had 34 people at his party and enjoy watching the Hogs play LSU. I wish we would have one though. Mason got lots of clothes and a few toys and books this year. I thank everyone for coming.

Mason loves playing with balls now. He also started to crawl on his hands and knees. He is now getting into everything. He is a very smart boy. He can find ways to put things in and out of things and has learn to pull one knee up to climb on a push car. He also has four teeth on top and two on bottom. We had our first thanksgiving dinner at my parents house in Texas. Daddy was hunting so we decided to make the six hour trip by our selfs. Mason did really good in the car.

Mason goes to sunday school on sundays with mommy and daddy. He loves his friends at the nursey. This picture is him playing with his nursey toys at the church. He does really good when mommy and daddy leave for church. They take good care of him.. He started to go when he was about 8 months old.

We go to the 8:30 survice and then mommy teaches prek sunday school at the 11:00 service.

This past Thursday, was our girls night out! each month a group of my sorority sisters that still live in NWA area get together for a night out. Mason turns eight months today! These past eight months with him has flown by fast.
He is a very good baby. He loves to roll everywhere and babble at the same time. He is starting to say sounds like mmmm mmm and baba. He also likes to scream at the top of his lungs. He loves giving kisses to his mom and dad. He likes to have things in his hands at all times. He is loving his baby foods and baby juices. He will grab anyones cup out of your hands. Remembering our first crib

This past week, we found out that my sons first crib has been recalled. We are taking a moment to remember it so someday he will look back at this blog and remember his first crib. His first crib was a great crib and it was priceless to us. Our neighbors gave it to us. The crib recalling factor was that the dropsides of the beds can break and your child can fall inbetween and suficate. We did not want that to happen so we had to return it to walmart for another bed. It was a process. The first walmart didnt know what we were talking about. so we went to another walmart and got the transcation taking care of. As of Sunday ,night my son has a new bed at seven months. The top picture is the old bed and the bottom picture is the new bed. I hope this make since.

Trying different foods

This week we have tried some new food. He loves trying anything that can get into his mouth. If he doesnt like it he makes a face that he thinks it might be too sour look and he makes a mess. If he likes the food he eats the whole jar full and no messys. I started him on the little finger food for his age. I think it is going to take some getting ust too or trying all the different flavors. My son is growing to fast..

Today, Mason is six months old. I cant believe he is a half of a year old. This time has flown by.

My husband and his cousin Chad coach a travling called the Dirty Soxs!. This past weekend the played a tournament in Alma. and ended up winning the champsonship game for the weekend. They are a really good team.

My Brother's Wedding

On May 9th, 2009 my brother got married to a wonderful women named Leah Grigsby. They got married in Saledo, Tx. Michael, Mason and I drove to Tyler the night before and got up the next morning in drove to Saledo with my parents, lori, and Aunt Sue. She fits into our family very well. Mason and I took a two day trip up to Branson MO with are friends Mauree, Silas, Jonas, Miles, and Nate. They were staying in a condo with two sides two it. It was very nice. Mason and I had are on side. I dont know who to share much to thank them for letting us come up there. It was alot of fun. Mason got to see Silver Dollar city. He stayed awake the whole time we were there. I even got to ride some of the rides. The hotel had a indoor pool and one night we went swimming. Mason got his first dip into the pool. He loves it. I dont know if you can tell but we have had a rat in the house. This rat started off in the kicthen Monday night and ended up in my bathroom cabinet Thursday night. It chewed all the way threw the jewerly bag and started to chew the cabinets. I guess he was hungry. We heard him from 2:30 am to 4:30 am but we did not get up. The next morning we cought one on a trap. I hope it was him. Rats please go away.

Mason and Silas

Mason and Silas had another playdate this week at Mauree's house. They enjoyed playing on the rug and watching Baby Einstein. Mason is 4 months old and Silas is 2 months old. Silas and Mason are about the same length wize but Mason is a little bit bigger. Silas is growing very fast. I cant wait tell they get the age where they will be chasing each other around.

I cant believe it but my son is four months old. He is a very happy boy. He loves to smile and be held by his friends, cousins, parents, honey and pops, nana, and neighbors. He is well loved not spoiled. Ha ha ! I have some pictures of things he enjoys doing while he is with his momma.
Mason is just learning to hold his head up while he is on his tummy. He can also hold it up when he is looking around or on my side.

When we got back from Texas mom and I decide to try out the Bumbo. He loves sitting in it.

Mason also loves to put his hands in his mouth. His right hand he puts his thumb in his month and on his left hand he puts his two fingers in there. He gets them all slobbery and wet.

He loves his raddler that Honey gave him. He can hold in his hands but he cant grab it yet.

At my parents home, Mason learned to watch TV. He was fascinated by it. Dad tried to get him to hold the remote but I didnt get a picture in time.

Mason didnt know what Pearl was. He just kept on starring at her trying to firgure it out. Same for Pearl.However, Pearl did a good job watching over mason.

This past week ,I went to my parents house in Tyler Texas. My parents want to be called Honey and Pops. My mother, flew up here to help us drive home for the first time. She was a great help in the car and at home. I love it when my mom comes in visits us. I got to stay in Tyler for a full week. While I was there my mom threw a sip and see for her friends to come see Mason. It was alot of fun. Thanks Mom ! Here are a few pictures that I enjoyed at the sip and see. By the end of the party I think Mason was hold by 35 people. It was a great party.

On February 19th, I rearrange a birthday party for Michael 30th and his mothers 59th. There birthday are actually on the 21st but we wanted to do it early. Last week, Mason had his first play date with his friends Silas and Sadie. Mauree had us over at her house for play and lunch. It was great to get out of the house and talk to adults. We had a fun weekend this past week. My family came up for Mason Baptism. My mom got to come a couple of days earlier then everyone else. My dad, sister, brother, and soon to be sister-n-law came up on Saturday. We showed them campus and all the damage by the storm. I told them it is much prettier in the fall and spring and when there is know tree damage. Then that evening we went and ate at Does stake place. It was delicous. Thanks Dad!. Today, our son is nine weeks old. Yesterday we went for our 2 months check up. He weighs 9 lbs and is 21 1/2 inches long. The doctor was really impressed about his gains. I thought these pictures were cute of him. he is trying to smile and he is without a pacifer. He is a very good baby.

Ice Storm 2009

Have u every been in a ice storm?

This years ice storm hit NWA really bad. It looked like a war has gone through town. We were without power for a day and a half, some people still do not have power. Gov. Beebe has called NWA a diaster area, school has been out this whole week.

Here is how we surived the first night with out power.

We plugged two lamps and a quisnar griddle into the generator. We ate dinner off the griddle and slept in the living room by the fire. it was a very long night.

One day last week, the weather was really nice. Mason and I decided to take a walk down to our friends Mauree, Miles and Jonash house. It was alot of fun. We stay for over two hours. My sorority sisters and I have been getting together once a month for a girls night out. Each one of us picks a different place to eat each month and either gets appeterizers or desserts. Today, I just wanted to share that I will be staying at home with little Mason untell the next schooln year. My husband and I have thought very hard about this and it just came up to a good deal. I am at my nieghbors house with all of my older friends watching over me. They call me Baby Mason. The neighbors children take very good care of Mason and enjoy him over. They allways want to see him.

Mason Lee Ferguson is three and 1/2 weeks old in this picture. He is laying in is boppy. We went to the doctor today and he is back up to his birth weight. He is 6 lbs and 3.5 ozs. Go Mason. Everyone is really happy even the doctor. Lets hope he keeps on gaining weight.

Our First Christmas Cookie Exchange

Last night, Mason and I went to a Christmas Cookie Exchange. It was alot of fun. The Neighborhood does a christmas cookie exchange every year at Lisa Hart's House. Mason slept through the whole thing. He was great. I think everyone enjoy seeing him. Mommy also enjoy everyone ohh and ahh over him. I aslo enjoy the games and the getting the cookies.

On Saturday, we took Mason to see Santa at the McNaughton Realtors breakfast with Santa. Mason was the youngest of all the kids this Christmas.

He did really well with Santa. That was also his first outing. He is two weeks and two days.

Mason Lee Ferguson Has Arrived

I cant believe it but our Son has arrived into the world. He was two weeks early. However, he is doing really well. and Mommy and Daddy are adjusted to the new life good too. Our boy was born November 29, 2008. He weighed 6 pds and 3 ounces and was 18 1/2 inches long. He is very handsome. Here are some pictures of the day he was born and the hospital days. We had lost of visiters come and in out while we were there. We enjoyed it all. My parents are also able to make the delivery and my mother stayed a full week to help us out. We are greatly appreciated and give many thanks to all.

On Sunday, my sister-n-law, kristi, sandra, and kathy gave me and baby Mason a family shower. I had a wonderful time at this shower too. Mason got lots of neat things. The teachers at school decided to throw me a baby shower. I really did appericate it. I did not know they were up to something untell they started to ask me dates and guess list. Painting the Horse at the NWA Florist

I have always wanted to paint the horse at the NWA Florist in Fayetteville and this past weekend I got the chance to do that with the Junior League. I only painted a couple of strokes but it was fun. We painted it for our upcoming fundraiser Winter Dreams which is held December 7, 2008. If anyone would like tickets please let me know. First Baby Shower

This past weekend, Janice and I went to Tyler for my first baby shower. It was alot of fun and more then what I expected. The shower was with my parents friends and my highschool friends. We took my 4runner to the shower and it was packed after loaded all the gifts. I think there were around 40 people there. After the shower, we took time to double check the list and get any duplicates to take back becuase we do not have a Babyrus here. After everything was repacked we took another trip to babyrus and ended up getting the car seat and stroller with my gift cards. My car was packed. I have other pictures but they are on my mother's and mother in laws camera. I will post later. Here are a few that I got on my camera.

Classroom

I just wanted to write down how today is going? Have you every had to cancelle a class due to the roof falling in from a water lickage. Today when I got to school, it looked like a toronado had gone through it. The roof was caving in ,with tile falling and sheet rock falling. I felt unsafe being there. The kids toys were all wet and had sheet rock in it. The carpet was wet and smelled like meldew. We decided to go ahead and cancelled school due to the saftey of the kids. I hope that was the right decision. The parents didnt seem to be mad at all. Then I was sent home due to pregnancy safety. They didnt want me in the room with everything smelling and falling. Sometimes I wish I could stay in help. Well I just thought I would let yall know to see if you had any experience in that sisuation.

This past weekend I spent the day and night with Michael's mom, brother, sister-n-law and their two kids at sivler dollar city while Michael was with my dad in Texas.

Silver dollar city was really pretty with their fall directions as shown in one of the pictures belowe. It was nice day not to hot not to cool. However, there is not alot to do for pregnant women. The only ride I rode was the train. I wish I could have done more. I did eat and drink their frozen lemonades. That was best the part.

Sad day in Arkansas

It was a sad day in Arkansas today. The razorbacks have lost there first SEC tournament game of the season to Alambama. The most fun part to the game was the tailgating before and after the game. Here are some pictures from the game. I hope we can overcome this lost of the game and win next weekend to Texas.

Hurricane Ike Hits Fayetteville AR

Last weekend Hurricane Ike took a tool in Fayetteville, with high winds and flood warnings. The winds woke me up around 12:30 that night to a pole following over in the backyard. After that I couldnt go back to sleep becuase of the winds. It sounded like the wind was coming inside the house. That next morning, we went to church and on the way back we notice that are bridge into are neighboorhood was flooded and the golf course. This area has flooded several times but I havent gotten to take a picture of it yet. So i decided to take pictures becuase the hurrincane hit several states. The pictures of belowe are the stongebridge golf course and the bridge on Dead Horse Mountain.

This year has been a busy year already with school. Here is a picture of our prek class at the beginning of the school year. Our program started on August 20th with eight prek students. Now, we have 14 students enroll in our classroom. These kiddos keep me pretty busy. We do have a great classroom. This picture is from a Manners Tea Party that we celebrated after teaching them manners.

I seem to be really busy this year. I think I have a total of three jobs and being pregnant at the same time. I am teaching during the day, tutoring a homebound student from 3-4 and then I do SKC from 4-6. I get home around 6:30 every evening. I still feel great though. It amazes me. I cant wait tell pregnancies..

Arkansas First game of the year !

On Labor day weekend, the hogs had their first football game of the season. It was alot of fun getting back into the spirit of football. I always try and take pictures of the first game. I didnt get any pictures of us but I tooks some of the A. My mom also got to eventure the game with us. She had a great time eventhough it was a long day with tailgating and the game. We both were tired and hot.

This weekend we decided to go ahead in get our baby bed. Our nieghbor got a shipment of beds in his warehouse and ask if I wanted to check them out. I am glad I did because I found one that I really like. I check it out on Saturday, then the guys went to pick it up on Sunday and Beth and I put it together Sunday evening. It was fun putting it together. I cant believe we have gotten the baby bed already to go. It is feeling more and more real.

Michael and I found out that we are having a baby boy this past monday. We are so excited. I tried to get the vidoes from the cd on here but it didnt work out. We saw the feet, arms, head, spine, and heart. It was amazing to see all of that. I cant believe he is inside me. I thought you would enjoy the news.

On July 25th, Michael and I took a quick trip to Tyler Tx for my 10th year Highschool reuion. It was great to see all my school friends again and the school spirit. We started saturday with a pool gathering at Katie Butts home in Tyler and then that evening we went to a Dinner and Dance at Hollytree Country Club. The dinner was fun we sat with all my friends from Tyler. Harldy anyone dance, we just talked and ate mexican food. Here are some pics from the event.

Dan First Haircut

My dog Dano, got his firsthair cut last week. He did a really good job. He was so excited to share to his dog pals Boss and Rosco. Also, for his reward he got to stay in the house that night and a few other nights.

Day 2: We went to a private Island called Las Calsta and swam with the sea lions. It was alot of fun. The sea lions have a great personality and listen very well to there trainers.

My sister, Mother and I took a vacation to Puerto Vallarta Mexico. It was alot of fun. We spent a full week there. The hotel we stayed at was call the Grand Mayan Hotel.

Staring off this week, Michael and I went to our Doctor's appointment today. We meet Dr. Baily. The baby is doing fine. The heartbeat was very fast and loud. Dr. Baily said the rate was about 160. He seem pretty happy. He said there was nothing wrong. That was a good sign. This week I am feeling better. I have gotten sick since Saturday night. Lets hope to not get sick anymore. That isnt any fun. I hope everyone has a happy fourth of July! Be safe.

Week 14 of being pregnant

I just wanted to event out about this week 14. I thought all things were suppose to get better in the second trimester of your pregnancy. I think I am just the opposite. This week 14 has been the hardest week I have had yet. I know it is gross to say but I have been vomitting alot more and gagging almost every day. It is a rountine out of my day. I have also had an earache. I cannot hear out of one of my ears. I was just waneted to see if anyone else has had trouble like this when they were pregnant. If you have let me know. I have called the doctor to see if there is anything I can take or do to get ride of it. I dont like the feeling of vomitting and gaging. I know that is probably just pregnancy. I am also going on vacation next week and I would like it to be gone. Please give me suggestions. I will keep letting yall know how my weeks go.
